ELIZABETH A. McKINNEY, nee Smeathers, w/o James McKinney; born Ky., March 25, 1826; died Feb. 17, 1857; md at age 32.

Rev. THOMAS LASLEY born Va., March 31, 1782; died McMinnville, Tenn., Jan. 20, 1857 at residence of son-in-law, M. McMillen; moved to Ky. 1795; licensed to preach, MEC, June 12, 1804; filled numerous appointments; md Susan d/o Ambrose and Rhoda Nelson 1810; she died August 16, 1853; one of his children was Mrs. Mary Henry of McKinney, Texas.

Mrs. McKinney, wife of B. R. McKinney, editor of the NASHVILLE TRUE WHIG, died January 15, 1855.

INDIANA H. McKINNEY wife of W. P. McKinney, daughter of William L. and Harriet B. Jackson (now Mrs. H. B. Stinchcomb, Parkersburg, W. Va.); born Clarksburg, Va., Aug. 25, 1824; married June 14, 1849; died Belpre, Ohio, May 29, 1885; 1 dau., 1 son. Sister of Judge William L. Jackson, Louisville, Ky. and of Colonel George Jackson, dec, of Parkersburg.

ELLIE McKINNEY HENDRICKS died in residence of her father, John B. McKinney, Iuka, Miss., June 24, 1895; born In Iuka, October 18, 1868, the oldest of nine children; joined the Methodist Church May 13, 1883; married John J. Hendricks, January 28, 1891; two children.

MARY T. McKINNEY born in Virginia, 1780; married (l) Edmund Taylor; two daughters, one son; (2) Colonel John T. McKinney; one son. Her, sons were deceased; daughter of Dr. Thomas Hinde who moved his family to Kentucky in 1797; joined Methodist Church, 1805. Died Feb. 5, 1851.

KATE WILLIAMS McKINNEY daughter of Allen and Sallie A. Tuck, born Halifax Co., Va., Sept. 6, 1851; died Richmond, Va., Feb. 19, 1913; married R. D. McKinney, Dec. 8, 1880 (children, B. A., Frank, Clinton and Ethel). Scottsburg, Va.

JOHN B. McKINNEY born near Corinth, Miss., Oct. 16, 1838, oldest son of William and Sarah McKinney; Confederate veteran; married Linda J. McKnight; 8 children; died Feb. 24, 1899.

WILEY McKINNEY MELTON son of John W. and Elizabeth Florry Melton, born Sept. 8, 1864; died Jan. 4, 1885.

CHARLES WESLEY BRAME son of Charles H. and Susan Brame, born Christian Co., Ky., April 24, 1842; married Belle McKinney, Sept. 1857; died Aug. 7, 1885; 7 children.

Mrs. JANE ELIZABETH McKINNEY b Jan. 26, 1845; d Riceville, Nov. 1, 1869.

Mrs. LUCINDA THOMPSON, nee McKinney, wf Judge James Thompson, Shelbyville, Choctaw Nation, died July 21, 1874; surviving were husband and one child.

LAURA D. HARGROVE born Oct. 28, 1854; died Jan. 5, 1875; md W. W. McKinney, May 7, 1871. (Evidently listed by her maiden name, Hargrove)

BENJAMIN WESLEY DUNN s/o George and Dicy Dunn; born Garrard Co., Ky. Dec. 2, 1831; died Lincoln County, Ky. Oct. 3, 1871; in 1853 moved to Huntsville, Alabama; in Feb. 1856 moved to Danville; the next year moved to Stanford, all of which time he was a merchant until 1863 when he was elected as sheriff and then cashier of the Bank of Stanford; md Fannie McKinney, October 25, 1864; left widow and three children.

SAMUEL McKINNEY died November 9, 1858, pneumonia.

KATE MORRISON, nee McKinney, wife of Capt. T. J. Morrison, born St. Louis Co., Mo., Jan. 24, 1821; married Aug. 22, 149; died Walnut, Texas, Oct. 28, 1891.

EDWARD J. McKINNEY born Marshall Co., Miss., Mar. 24, 1844; died Cooper, Texas, Jan. 4,1901; husband and father.

Reverend ARTHUR McKINNE fifth son of William and Elizabeth McKinne; born Wayne Co., N.C., July 16, 1811; married H. D. Leigh, March 26, 1833; Methodist preacher; died October 1843.

JAMES McKINNEY, native of Christian Co., Ky., died Murfreesboro, Tenn., Sept. 21, 1844 aged 36 years.

Dr. D. D. McKINNEY died Monroe Co., Miss., Aug. 17, 1845 in 26th year of his age.

LIZZIE McKINNEY, nee Weeks, born Stewart Co., Tenn., March 5, 1854; married James McKinney, Jan. 4, 1874; died Roaring Springs, Ky., July 11, 1877.
